ChannelScout is a product of Adventure Seekers LLC(“we”, “us”, “ChannelScout”). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use ChannelScout at channelscout.co, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions can go to scout@adventure-seeker.com.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to run ChannelScout:

  • Account data. Email address and authentication tokens when you create an account.
  • Project inputs. The app description, brand voice, constraints, and any text you enter into the wizard or Scout chat.
  • Generated outputs. The Launch Blueprint, channel recommendations, content drafts, and library items tied to your account.
  • Payment data (when applicable). Purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation and the last four digits of the card, never the full card number.
  • Usage data. Basic product analytics such as pages visited, features used, and error reports. We do not sell this data.

How we use it

  • To generate your Launch Blueprint, Scout Signal drops, and related content.
  • To authenticate you and keep your projects tied to your account.
  • To answer support requests and fix bugs.
  • To improve the product based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.

We do not train AI models on your private project data, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Third parties we use

ChannelScout relies on a small number of trusted service providers. Each only receives the data needed to perform its function:

  • Anthropic (Claude API). Processes your project inputs to generate reports and power Scout chat. Anthropic does not train on API inputs or outputs.
  • Serper. Performs Google search queries on your behalf for Pattern Intelligence (Hunt).
  • Supabase. Stores your account, projects, and library content.
  • Stripe. Processes payments for paid plans when applicable.
  • Vercel. Hosts the application and serves it to your browser.

Where your data is stored

Account and project data is stored in Supabase (United States region). Some product preferences and draft state are cached in your browser's localStorage for performance. Clearing your browser data will remove the local cache but will not delete data stored under your account.

How long we keep it

We keep your project data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregate usage metrics may be retained for product analytics.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account at any time by emailing scout@adventure-seeker.com. If you live in California, the EU, or the UK, you have additional rights under CCPA or GDPR, including the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. Contact us and we'll honor them.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics cookies in the future, we'll update this policy and prompt you for consent where required.

Children

ChannelScout is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the “Last updated” date whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-product notice before taking effect.
