Terms of Service

Last updated April 14, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ChannelScout, a product of Adventure Seekers LLC(“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using ChannelScout you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What ChannelScout is

ChannelScout helps indie developers and solo founders plan a go-to-market strategy. It generates a Launch Blueprint (an ICP analysis, ranked channel recommendations, a 30-day roadmap, and a brand guide) and provides Scout, an AI assistant, to help execute it. ChannelScout is an informational and planning tool. It is not marketing, legal, financial, or business advice.

2. Your account

You need an account to save projects and access paid features. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use ChannelScout to generate spam, harassment, hate speech, or illegal content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or resell the service.
  • Use the output to impersonate another brand or mislead users about who is behind your product.
  • Submit content you don't have the rights to or that violates someone else's rights.
  • Upload malware, attempt to breach security controls, or interfere with other users' access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Fair use.Scout Signal subscriptions are priced for individual founders and small teams running their own apps. If we detect automated, bulk, or resale-scale usage (for example, generating dozens of reports per day, scripting the wizard, sharing account credentials, or building a service on top of ChannelScout's output), we may throttle features, require a custom-tier plan, or close the account.

4. Your content and our content

Your inputs. You keep ownership of everything you put into ChannelScout (app descriptions, brand voice, saved library items). You grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the service to you.

Generated outputs. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you own the Launch Blueprint, content drafts, and other outputs generated for your project, and you can use them for any lawful purpose. Because AI-generated content is produced from your inputs combined with model weights, identical or similar outputs may be generated for other users; we make no guarantee of uniqueness.

Our product. The ChannelScout software, branding, Scout mascot, and underlying systems remain our property. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the product itself.

5. Paid plans and refunds

Launch Starter Pack ($19, one-time).Your purchase includes the full Launch Blueprint (report, brand guide, library content) plus 30 days of active access to Scout features such as the Scout AI assistant, Scout's Hunt, and content generation. Your generated Blueprint, brand guide, and saved library items remain available for download indefinitely. After day 30, active AI features require a subscription.

Scout Signal (subscription). Monthly subscription that keeps Scout AI, Hunt, content generation, and library editing active past day 30, and adds weekly pattern drops. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Canceling does not delete your Blueprint or downloadable library content.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Current pricing is shown at checkout.

Refunds. Because ChannelScout generates immediate digital output, the Launch Starter Pack is generally non-refundable once the Blueprint has been generated. Scout Signal subscription payments are non-refundable for the current billing period; you will retain access through the period you paid for. If something goes clearly wrong on our end, such as the report failing to generate, the product being broken, or a double charge, email scout@adventure-seeker.com within 14 days and we'll make it right.

6. AI outputs, important

ChannelScout's recommendations, community suggestions, and content drafts are produced by AI models. They are starting points, not guarantees. Specifically:

  • Community names, member counts, and rules may be out of date. Always verify before posting.
  • Every subreddit, Discord, and forum has its own rules. Follow them. ChannelScout is not responsible for bans or removals.
  • Generated content should be reviewed and edited before publishing. You are responsible for what you post under your name.
  • Channel recommendations are not promises of traffic, signups, or revenue.

7. Third-party services

ChannelScout integrates with third-party services including Anthropic, Serper, Supabase, Stripe, and Vercel. Their terms apply to their portions of the service. Your data is only shared with them to perform their function (see Privacy Policy).

8. Warranty disclaimer

ChannelScout is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific outcome (traffic, signups, revenue) will result from using it.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adventure Seekers LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profits damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Adventure Seekers LLC harmless from any claims arising out of (a) your misuse of the service, (b) content you post using outputs generated by ChannelScout, or (c) your violation of these Terms or someone else's rights.

11. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or shut down the service entirely with reasonable notice. On termination your right to use the service ends; you can export your data before closing your account.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we'll give notice by email or in-product before they take effect. Continuing to use ChannelScout after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
